NOT IN THE SSN BUNDLE

The SSN Bundle holds the nine competency study notes. This is a standards reference rather than a competency set, so it is sold on its own and is not part of that bundle.

HOW THE LEVELS WORK

Assurance is separated into Core level and Elective level, so you study only the depth your exam requires.

Core level

Content relevant to Core 1 or Core 2 only.

Elective level

The additional content required for the matching elective, on top of Core.

Combined

Core and Elective content presented together rather than separated. For FR, MA and SG there is no clear distinction between Core-only and Elective-only topics, so we do not segregate the topics for these competencies.

Taking the Finance elective? You need Finance at both levels. Writing Core 1? Tax at Core level only.

WHO IT IS FOR
Candidates preparing for the CPA PEP Assurance module and the CFE, and anyone in public practice who needs the standards cold.
QUESTIONS ABOUT THIS PRODUCT
▾  What do Core level and Elective level mean?
Core level is the content relevant to Core 1 or Core 2 only. Elective level is the additional depth required for the matching elective, on top of Core. Where a competency is marked combined, the two are presented together rather than separated. The point of splitting them is that you never study content your exam does not require.
▾  Is this a substitute for the Handbook?
For exam purposes, largely yes. It is written to get you to a working command of a standard faster than reading the Handbook, which is written to be complete rather than teachable.
▾  Is this CPA Canada material?
No. Everything we sell is original material written by Gevorg, CPA. It is not offered in the CPA Canada modules or in Capstone 2, which is the point: it covers ground the official material does not.
▾  How do I get it after I buy?
Immediately, by email. It is a file, so there is no enrolment, no login and no waiting. Download it, keep it, and use it offline. If you don’t see it in your inbox immediately, please check your spam as our product links sometimes end up there.
▾  Can I share it with my study group?
No. Every product is a single user licence. We keep prices low on the basis that each person buys their own copy.
