Gevorg is the visionary behind Gevorg CPA, a platform dedicated to demystifying the CPA journey for the next generation of Canadian accountants. With a deep-rooted belief that the CFE is a test of logic and strategy rather than just memorization, Gevorg has spent close to a decade refining a coaching methodology that has helped 3,000+ students successfully achieve their designations.

On a Personal Note: Residing in British Columbia, Gevorg is an avid lover of nature and the outdoors. When he isn’t helping students navigate their careers, he enjoys exploring the province’s natural beauty with his family, and trying diverse foods.

Erika Kinney

Erika’s journey in accounting has always been defined by a passion for education and a drive to understand how complex organizations scale. A graduate of UBC Sauder School of Business, Erika discovered her love for teaching early on—leading school-funded review sessions for introductory accounting and serving as a TA for career planning courses.

On a Personal Note: Erika lives in British Columbia with her husband and two children. She stays active through her love of running and hiking, and she can often be found embarking on new adventures across the Pacific Northwest with her family.

Mallory Stevens

Mallory is a key part of the Gevorg CPA team, where she has served as an Academic Advisor, Tutor, and Content advisor for over 4 years. Designated in 2019 and based on the East Coast, Mallory specializes in Assurance and brings a sharp, practical lens to our curriculum.

On a Personal Note: When she isn’t helping students or working, you can usually find her hiking or reading.

Nethieesan Kukabalan, CPA

Academic Instructor

Nethieesan Kukabalan

Nethieesan brings a dynamic blend of tax and assurance experience, backed by both Big 4 and government exposure. A University of Toronto graduate with distinction, he earned his CPA designation in 2024 and has quickly built a reputation for combining technical depth with real-world application.

As an Academic Instructor and a key part of the Gevorg CPA program, Nethieesan is deeply committed to student success. He helps candidates pass their CPA exams by delivering high-impact technical sessions and providing detailed, actionable feedback that drives performance.

On a Personal Note: Outside of work, Nethieesan enjoys staying up to date with current events, reading, and following basketball and baseball.
