YOUR CPD REQUIREMENT
Your CPD requirements aren’t going anywhere. The hassle can.
Each year, CPAs must complete at least 20 hours of CPD, at least 10 of them verifiable, and 60 verifiable hours over every rolling three-year period. GCPA CPD gives you 20 verifiable hours a year: your full annual minimum, and on pace for your three-year verifiable total. Ethics-eligible courses are always in the library.
Requirements are set by your provincial CPA body, including the three-year totals and ethics hours. Check yours using the links here.
PRICING
Spend less on mandatory CPD. Invest more in your career.
One place. One annual price. A single, predictable cost that makes the budget conversation with your manager easy, and keeps the rest of your professional development budget for the specialised training, conferences and career development opportunities that matter most to you.
Every credit is a verifiable CPD hour. A 2-hour course uses 2 credits; a 4-hour course uses 4.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Common questions about GCPA CPD
Do these courses count as verifiable CPD?
Each course has defined learning objectives, a final assessment you must pass, and a certificate that records your hours. Those are the features most provincial bodies look for in verifiable activities, but each body sets its own rules, so confirm against your provincial CPD bylaws.
How do credits and pricing work?
One price: $200 for 20 credits, valid for one year. There is no per-credit option. Each credit is one verifiable CPD hour, so a 2-hour course uses 2 credits.
What if I don’t need all 20 credits?
Everyone needs a different amount of CPD. Some CPAs need the full 20 credits, and others need just 5 or 10. That’s why we kept the price simple: even if you only need 5 credits, $200 still makes a lot of sense, and the rest of the library is there if you want it.
Does this cover all my CPD for the year?
Your 20 credits meet the 20-hour annual minimum, all of it verifiable, and keep you on pace for 60 verifiable hours over three years. Three-year totals and ethics hours are set by your provincial body, so check your own requirement using the links above.
Does this cover my ethics requirement?
Ethics-eligible courses are always available in the library, so you can use your credits toward your ethics hours.
What happens to unused credits?
Your credits are valid for one year, and unused credits don’t roll forward. A credit is used when you enrol in a course, even if you don’t finish it.
Are the credits refundable?
No. The value is in your access, whether or not you choose to use it. Your access and credits can’t be deferred or delayed.
Can I share my account or credits?
No. Your account, courses and credits are just for you, and credits can’t be transferred to anyone else.
How do I get my certificate?
Pass the final quiz and download your CPD certificate right from your portal, ready for your provincial CPD report.
Can I stop partway and come back later?
Yes. Your progress is saved. To keep your hours verifiable, a short “Do you want to continue?” check confirms you are still engaged as you work through each module.
