Core & Elective Programs: Live Sessions Overview
Welcome to the Gevorg CPA Core and Elective live sessions! To provide you with the best possible support, we have designed an enhanced live session structure to help you master both the complex technical knowledge and the critical case-writing strategies required for CPA success. For the upcoming Summer and Fall sessions, we have adjusted the timing of the live sessions such that they are earlier on in your studies. To ensure you receive the most targeted and effective preparation, our live programming is split into two distinct formats:
Case Walkthrough & Exam Strategy
- Who it is for: Core 1 and Core 2 students.
- What to expect: Core 1 and Core 2 students each receive a dedicated, live instructor-led session specifically focused on step-by-step case writing walkthroughs, proven strategies for multiple-choice questions (MCQs), and overall exam-day tactics.
Competency-Specific Office Hours
- Who it is for: Students across all modules (Core 1, Core 2, Assurance, Finance, Taxation, and Performance Management) are invited to the technical session(s) that are relevant to their exam.
- What to expect: To help you master the heavy technical requirements of the CPA program, we host targeted Technical Office Hours led by our expert tutors. These sessions are broken down by specific CPA competencies:
- Financial reporting
- Audit and assurance
- Finance
- Taxation
- Management accounting and strategy and governance
- How it works: Your Gevorg CPA Platform will include the unique, individual links for each session that you are invited to attend, based on your course registration. As you can see from the schedule, these sessions do not overlap, so you will be able to attend all sessions that you are invited to. You are encouraged to bring your own complex technical questions for our tutors to answer live. If there are limited student questions, our tutors will come prepared to guide the group through targeted technical MCQs to actively test and reinforce your knowledge.
Who Can Attend?
We understand that every student’s CPA timeline is unique. Any Gevorg CPA student with an active enrollment is welcome to attend any of the live sessions associated with the package they purchased. Flexibility is key to your success. This means that as long as your enrollment in a specific course remains active, you are fully eligible to join any of the scheduled live sessions that correspond to your registered module(s). Whether you are preparing for the upcoming exams or studying ahead for a future semester, you can attend the sessions in any ongoing cohort!
